Private Ski Lessons
I offer private ski lessons in Zermatt for all ages and abilities – from complete beginners and children through to experienced skiers who want to fine-tune their technique.
Every day on the mountain is adapted to you or your private group: your ability, confidence, interests, pace and what you would like to achieve while skiing in Zermatt.
Private ski lessons are available as half days or full days. The price is for my time rather than per person, so the price remains the same regardless of how many people join your private booking.
Ski Guiding & Discovering Zermatt
Ski guiding in Zermatt is about discovering the very best of the mountains with someone who knows them well. Together we can explore the ski area, find slopes that suit your ability and preferences, and link runs that make the most of the views.
As your private ski instructor in Zermatt, I can help you discover different parts of the mountain, from wide, confidence-building pistes to scenic routes and favourite viewpoints, as well as some of the best mountain restaurants.

More Than Just the Skiing
- Your experience can begin before we even step onto the snow. I can meet you at your accommodation in the morning, or the evening before your first ski day to introduce myself, discuss plans and goals, and help with equipment if needed.
I can advise on and help organise ski equipment, explain and arrange the appropriate lift passes, reserve mountain restaurants for lunch, or suggest quieter areas depending on the day.
For families or groups where some people are taking group lessons, I can help book suitable group lessons with local ski schools and coordinate meeting points so everyone can meet up during or after skiing. I can also help you coordinate the ski day with the wider holiday, particularly when you have different abilities or different plans within the group.
The aim is to give you one knowledgeable local point of contact who can make skiing in Zermatt feel considerably easier.
Full Day Skiing
My full day of private skiing in Zermatt is deliberately flexible and does not have a fixed finishing time. Rather than watching the clock, we can ski for as long as you would like to ski that day.
Your ski day doesn’t have to end because the clock says it should. We can start from your accommodation and shape the day around your pace, the conditions, your lunch plans and your energy levels.
Half-day skiing is also available if you prefer a shorter session.
